Bedtime Story
Boy, this is one crazy week and it is not over yet! Those of us in the U.S. just went through our presidential election that saw President Obama taking the win for a second term in office. We also saw a boost in women taking various government seats and marriage equality spreading to a few more states. The ticket item that shocked me the most was the legalization of marijuana in Colorado and Washington. Like I said, it is one crazy week that has yet to end!
Sadly, this also led to Social Media turning into a hate fueled rage machine yesterday. People boasted how we needed to work together one moment, then bashed and berated the president the next. This led me to take a break from the Internet while all the negativity flew around, as I just don’t see that being productive or helping us in the end.
I figure we could all use a smile after the last two days, so I will just deposit this here and let you enjoy it. Remember, we are merely human beings trying to coexist on the pale blue dot we call home.
